The first anniversary of the re-opening of The Axe and Compasses.
To celebrate our first year we have been lucky enough to book our old friends Tony "Frank Sinatra" Cavell, one of the best "Franks" around. And as a bonus Jo "The Voice" Paige, who has the most amazing voice this side of Alison Moyet!
It should be a brilliant night and as its Bank Holiday Weekend no work the next day for quite a few of you! From 8.00pm
Wednesday 11th June
TEXAS HOLD'EM NIGHT
Texas Hold'em is one of the most dramatic and popular varieties of poker in the world and on this evening we will be hosting two tables of nine with a professional croupier to help novices. 7.30 prompt start with places strictly limited. £15 to play (payable in advance) buys £1000 of playing chips. Sunday 15th June
FATHERS DAY
The menu will feature our usual fantastic Sunday Lunches, if you haven't tried one yet come along and treat yourselves as well as Dad! Served all day from 12 noon to 8.30pm. Booking essential.
Friday 4th July
AMERICAN INDEPENDANCE DAY
As we celebrated St George's Day we feel OK celebrating this day with the best ELVIS impersonator we have ever heard. Close your eyes and it's the King singing just for you. Don't miss this evening. From 8.30pm
